Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for Mechanic - Heavy duty & Truck Trailor at our manufacturing facility located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Job Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Perform preventive maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer and fleet schedules
  • Repair brakes, steering, and suspension
  • Service trailer components including axles, air brake systems, lighting, doors, landing gear, and frames
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot faults
  • Complete repair orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records accurately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OH&S standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Class 1 or 3 an asset
  • CVIP certification or ability to obtain
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in shop and outdoor environments
