Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanic/Greenkeeper to join our team, responsible for maintaining the golf course and surrounding landscaping, ensuring it is in top condition for members and guests. You will be entrusted with maintaining a range of areas, from the golf course greens and fairways to the Clubhouse grounds and car park, all while upholding our high standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining the golf course and surrounding landscaping
  • Planting and maintaining shrubs and trees
  • Mowing greens and fairways
  • Managing bunkers
  • Maintaining drainage and irrigation systems
  • Handling turf laying and repairs
  • Woodland management
  • Aerifying greens
  • Ensuring overall cleanliness of the course
  • Maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment used on-site
  • Addressing mechanical issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Experience in golf course grounds maintenance or greenkeeping is desirable
  • Experience in golf machinery and equipment desirable
  • Secondary school education
