Job Responsibility

Perform preventative and routine maintenance on diesel trucks, pickup trucks, log trailers, and semi-trailers
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical defects
Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and maintain maintenance records
Operate equipment as needed
Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain work area appearance and safety
Work may consist of day or swing-shift, with some overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production times

Job Responsibility

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks, pickup trucks, log trailers, and semi-trailers
Effectively overhaul engines and perform diagnostic tests and routine preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of the above-mentioned vehicles
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and steering mechanisms
Perform routine care such as oil changes, fluid level checks, belt and hose inspections, and tire rotations
Maintain accurate and detailed records of serviced vehicles and adhere to safety, environmental, and other regulations
Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, and maintain a clean and organized work area
Work may consist of overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production times
