Job Description:

AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for a Mechanic to be based at Stansted Airport within our Training department, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with previous experience working within a Mechanical department, such as a garage, maintenance facility, workshop, etc. The successful candidate will report to the Training manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Routine maintenance and servicing of training facility equipment primarily focused on but not limited to the Boeing 737 training aircraft and modules to meet all Ryanair training demands
  • Repair and development of all training facility equipment to meet current and future training demands
  • Monitor all training activities to support instructors students to maximise the functionality and service life of training aids, including reinstatement of facility and equipment on completion of training delivery

Requirements:

  • Good basic engineering hand skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to utilise available resources
  • Good communications skills written and verbal with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Good IT Literacy (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential)
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in The UK
  • Full UK / EU driving license
