Job Description

The MDU Manager is responsible for driving fiber‑optic network adoption within multi‑dwelling buildings across Manitoba. This role blends relationship‑building, project coordination, and strategic planning to ensure that property owners, managers, and residents receive a seamless experience from initial engagement to full-service activation. You’ll be the primary point of contact for all MDU opportunities including identifying buildings, securing access agreements, coordinating installation timelines, and supporting resident adoption.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify and prioritize MDU opportunities within the company’s service expansion areas
  • Build strong relationships with property owners, managers, condo boards, and developers
  • Present the value of fiber connectivity and secure building access agreements (BAAs)
  • Serve as the primary liaison for all MDU stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with Construction, Engineering, and Network Planning to coordinate site assessments, installation timelines, and building readiness
  • Ensure all internal teams have accurate building details, access requirements, and project updates
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact timelines or resident experience
  • Develop and execute resident‑focused engagement strategies (e.g., lobby events, door hangers, digital campaigns)
  • Support the sales team in driving subscription uptake within newly connected MDUs
  • Track adoption metrics and identify opportunities to improve penetration rates
  • Maintain accurate records of MDU inventory, access agreements, project status, and adoption metrics
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on pipeline progress, risks, and opportunities
  • Use market insights to recommend new MDU targets and expansion strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and technology partners to stay current on emerging telecom technologies
  • Partner with Marketing to develop MDU‑specific materials and campaigns
  • Work with Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth onboarding for residents
  • Collaborate with Legal on contract reviews and access agreements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in telecom, real estate, property management, or a related field
  • Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple buildings simultaneously
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Manitoba
