Verkada is looking for a Marketing (Sales) Development Manager that will hire, onboard and train a team of highly driven and hardworking lead qualification professionals! The Marketing (Sales) Development team is the first interaction with prospective Verkada customers and is key to the success of Verkada.

Job Responsibility:

  • Hire, mentor, and lead a team of Marketing (Sales) Development Reps.
  • Develop the sales acumen, product knowledge, and industry expertise of each team member.
  • Identify current workflow inefficiencies and build workflows for the future. Prioritize improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Regularly report on Team/Individual KPI’s - Call volume, lead quality, down funnel metrics and pipeline, etc.
  • Work closely with our Growth Marketing team.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and AEs to ensure lead quality/quantity and efficient follow-up.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in Software sales
  • 1+ years of management experience, with a consistent track record of building a great working environment
  • Proven track record of building inbound and outbound sales processes
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • Consistent results of 100%+ of quota achievement as an individual contributor
  • Outstanding time management and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Clay, etc.)
  • Experience leading and improving critical metrics
  • Experience running successful 1 on 1's and weekly/monthly team meetings
  • Experience handling individual and management expectations (Managing Up)
  • You must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.
