Job Description

An experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Executive (6-8 years) responsible for managing end-to-end master data operations, governance, and data quality across core domains (Material, Customer, Vendor, GL). The role involves leading MDM teams, ensuring accurate and consistent data in ERP/MDM systems (SAP MDG, S/4HANA, Ariba, ERP), and driving process improvements. The individual acts as a subject matter expert, collaborates with business and IT stakeholders, supports data lifecycle management, and ensures strong material masters governance on international scenarios, keeping records for audit readiness, and compliance. Additionally, the role focuses on data quality monitoring, reporting (KPIs/KQIs), and enabling seamless data flow across integrated systems.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in supply chain master data management
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, SAP MDG, Defined workflow tools
  • Strong understanding of Material, Customer, and Vendor master data objects
  • Strong functional knowledge of attribute level understanding and its dependencies, Good understanding of Master data approval workflows, Data standards & business rules
  • Demonstrated experience in data validation, data cleansing, root-cause analysis
  • Ability to identify and remediate data quality issues at attribute level
  • Advanced expertise in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulae, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, data validation)
  • Ability to manage large datasets to analyze and report data quality errors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Flexible operating in any time zone as per business stakeholders need
  • Graduates and Post Graduates in Finance, Engineering and Science domains
  • Certifications related to SAP, lean six sigma, Agile methods, Project management are added advantage
