Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MDM (Master Data Management) Developer to support and enhance enterprise-wide master data processes. The role involves managing master data operations, ensuring data accuracy, implementing governance standards, and collaborating with business and IT teams to maintain high-quality data across all systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MDM tools, strong SQL capabilities, and a deep understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage master data lifecycle processes including Create/Read/Update/Delete operations
  • Collaborate with operations and accounting teams to capture and analyze master data requirements
  • Understand data structures, interfaces, and data flow from source systems to downstream applications
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for master data queries
  • coordinate with IT and business teams for system implementations
  • Work with the Data Officer to implement master data rules, policies, and controls ensuring completeness, consistency, and accuracy
  • Identify data quality issues, document root causes, and implement action plans for remediation
  • Implement process controls and improvements to prevent data quality issues across systems
  • Follow up with data owners/users to maintain agreed levels of data quality
  • Manage daily capturing, uploading, and validation of data files from trading systems into accounting ledgers
  • Perform system integrity checks and resolve or escalate issues as required
  • Prepare Audit Confirmations based on requests from counterparties and auditors
  • Support ongoing MDM and data governance initiatives

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation, extraction, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as: Informatica MDM (preferred)
  • SAP MDG, IBM MDM, Oracle MDM, Reltio, Stibo, or TIBCO EBX
  • Experience in data quality management (profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, standardization)
  • Familiarity with ETL/integration tools: Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory
  • Knowledge of data models, reference data, entities, attributes, and relationships
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML for master data exchange

Nice to have

  • Experience with Golden Source, Markit EDM, or other financial data platforms
  • Exposure cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Understanding modern data warehousing tools: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and stewardship workflows
  • Knowledge of RBAC, data security standards, and audit compliance
  • Experience in automation or scripting using Python or Shell
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M, etc.)
