Mdm Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist

• Investigate records flagged through match and merge activities, determine the source of discrepancies, and complete corrections based on approved business rules
• Perform data cleanup activities across assigned domains, including standardizing values, removing duplicates, correcting formats, and validating key attributes
• Review resolved records to confirm survivorship outcomes are accurate and aligned with stewardship expectations and governance guidelines
• Analyze recurring data issues to identify underlying causes and recommend actions that reduce repeat exceptions
• Apply authorized mass updates and record corrections while following defined controls, documentation standards, and change procedures
• Track and review data quality metrics, exception queues, and reporting outputs to help maintain visibility into ongoing issues
• Partner with data stewards, governance teams, operations staff, and business stakeholders to resolve records that require functional input or policy interpretation
• Maintain clear documentation of remediation actions, decisions, and audit-ready support materials in accordance with compliance requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in master data management, data quality, data governance, or a closely related data operations role
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including functions for lookup, filtering, pivot table analysis, and structured data review
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica or comparable applications used for data quality and entity management
• Ability to interpret business rules, matching logic, and survivorship models with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Working knowledge of SQL or similar query tools for data review, validation, or issue investigation
• Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with business partners, stewards, and operational teams
