Job Description:

We are looking for a senior master data management consultant specializing in multiple off-the-shelf MDM platforms who will help mature offerings and lead MDM initiatives for customers. The position will report to the head of Data Consulting practice. This is a high visibility role with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skillset and build your career working for Fortune Global 500 companies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a trusted thought leader for business data stewards, technical data stewards, domain data stewards, data architects, and/or Chief Data Officers
  • Develop MDM strategy, MDM data architecture, integration architecture, and data governance frameworks tailored to customer’s needs and strategy but aligned with industry best practices
  • Help customers establish required operating model for driving governance of master data while providing guidelines related to practices, policies, and standards both at a technical and functional level
  • Liaise with information security teams, business data stewards, data cataloguing and data quality teams to define priorities and roadmaps for managing and mitigating risks related to master data
  • Drive upskilling and adoption initiatives within customer organizations
  • Help drive adoption of MDM tools and platforms inside customer organization
  • Identify and define opportunities for automating stewardship processes and data processing steps
  • Collaborate with Lingaro’s technology and delivery teams across different time zones
  • Keep the practice at the forefront of Data Management and Governance Consulting (by interacting with the ecosystem, attending conferences, securing certifications, interactions with external advisors, reading articles)
  • Assess and apply the latest developments in master data management and standards
  • High learning agility demonstrating willingness to learn and apply other skills and technologies

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in design and implementation of master data management solutions, governance practices, systems and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting or program management roles leading MDM initiatives
  • 5+ years as an MDM architect
  • Hands-on experience and certification in Informatica MDM
  • Experience in installation, upgrade, and administration of MDM platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in any quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to work with CXOs, senior business leaders, enterprise architects, and data architects
  • Ability to clearly articulate, influence, and thought partner with senior business leaders
  • Deep understanding and expertise in building both Analytical and Operational MDM solutions
  • Exposure to driving MDM program audit and maturity assessment initiatives
  • Understanding of modern technology trends and data stacks in data management and governance
  • Experience in running customer workshops and other collaboration sessions to discover customer priorities, understand current state, and determine maturity/readiness to execute on enterprise Data Management & Governance vision
  • 2+ years of expertise in data engineering using Azure or GCP services
  • Familiar with real-time integration and harmonization techniques with Salesforce, SAP or other CRM/ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Deep understanding of frameworks such as DAMA, DCAM
  • Experience in data engineering focused on building be-spoke MDM solutions
  • Certifications or experience in one or more of the MDM solutions such as Profisee, Reltio, Semarchy, Tamr, CluedIn, Talend, Ataccama, Precisely, SAP MDG, Stibo
  • Experience in migration of MDM services across different SaaS platforms
  • Databricks experience or certification
  • Expertise in Collibra, MS Purview, or any other data governance solutions
  • Expertise in Data Quality and Observability solutions
  • Certifications in Azure, GCP, or AWS
  • Experience in FMCG industry
