Job Description:

Lead inventory allocation strategies for a prestigious luxury brand in Japan, maximizing sales and driving growth in a dynamic retail environment. About the company: Our client is a leading global luxury brand renowned for its high-quality products and sophisticated aesthetic. The company is expanding its presence in the Japanese market and seeks a skilled Allocation Specialist to optimize inventory and drive sales performance.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement effective inventory allocation strategies across all retail locations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand stock requirements and forecast future demand
Optimize inventory levels to maximize sales and minimize excess stock
Manage stock rebalancing and transfers between stores
Oversee end-of-life product returns to the warehouse
Monitor delivery and shipment processes, reporting weekly status updates
Optimize inventory flow from overseas to local warehouses and stores.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, preferable in Allocation Planning, Inventory Management or Supply/Demand Planning, and data analysis
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Strong Excel skills a must: Pivot tables, v-lookup, functions, merging tables
Systems and Tools: Have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly (MicroStrategy, TXT)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work in a team environment, build positive relationship with partners
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Business level proficiency of spoken & written English is preferred
Accessible Luxury (= our competitor) is preferred but not a must. High end Luxury, Fast moving products or Sports industry even not selling Handbags are also OK if he/she has P&A experience.
