MCU Calibration Consultant

• Perform calibration work packages for MCU/e-Drive systems using dedicated equipment and processes
• Fine-tune parameters, validate control strategies, and ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability of the Motor Control Unit/e-Drive system
• Define and conduct test plans to calibrate and validate the e-Drive system under various operating conditions and test setups (e.g., e-Drive test bench, transmission test bench, chassis dynamometer, vehicle)
• Perform objective and subjective drivability assessments with support from data acquisition systems
• Manage calibration datasets for assigned software modules
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges
• Interact and exchange experiences with teammates and service providers at various locations
• Support the implementation of new control strategies and provide technical feedback to development teams

• Experience as powertrain calibration and/or controls engineer in e-Drive systems (EVs or hybrid vehicles), with focus on MCU calibration (2-5 years)
• Strong background in e-Drive systems: electric motor fundamentals, power electronics, sensor integration and calibration, motor control algorithms, thermal management
• Experience with calibration tools and data acquisition systems (e.g., Vector CANape, ETAS INCA)
• Academic background: Master’s degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics Engineering or related field
• English fluent
• You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to articulate and report results comprehensively
