We are currently seeking an experienced MCE Supervisor to oversee a main bearing exchange project on Nordex N149 Delta 4000 turbines at an onshore wind farm in Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, supervising technicians and subcontractors, and ensuring the safe and successful delivery of the project in line with OEM procedures, project schedules, and HSE requirements.
Job Responsibility
Supervise and coordinate all main bearing exchange activities on Nordex N149 Delta 4000 wind turbines
Lead and manage MCE technicians and supporting personnel throughout the project
Ensure all work is executed in accordance with Nordex procedures, project specifications, and quality standards
Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work activities
Coordinate lifting operations with crane suppliers and site management teams
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved safely and efficiently
Act as the primary point of contact between technicians, site management, client representatives, and subcontractors
Review and complete project documentation, reports, and quality records
Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance during critical phases of the exchange
Requirements
Proven experience supervising Major Component Exchange (MCE) projects within the wind industry
Previous hands-on experience working on Nordex turbines is mandatory
Demonstrable experience managing main bearing exchanges or other major corrective maintenance activities
Strong leadership and team management skills
Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) certificates
Valid GWO Working at Heights certification
Ability to interpret technical documentation, lifting plans, and OEM procedures
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within the wind sector
