HC & MC Drivers Wanted! Are you a wizard behind the wheel? Can you back a B-double into a tight space smoother than a fresh jar of peanut butter? If you've got the skills, the licence, and a passion for keeping the state fed, we want you on our team. Randstad is hunting for top-tier HC and MC Drivers for local supermarket contract runs. No long-haul highway hypnosis here—you'll be home every day (or night). Pick Your Shift: The Early Bird (Day Shift): Kick off from 6:00 AM. Beat the worst of the traffic and wrap up with your evening free. The Night Owl (Afternoon Shift): Roll out from 2:00 PM. Perfect for those who hate morning alarms. The Daily Grind (What You'll Be Doing): Supermarket Sweeps: Multi-drop deliveries to major supermarket hubs. Dock Masters: Confidently reversing into finger docks like a pro. Hook & Book: Coupling and uncoupling trailers safely and efficiently. Strapping & Securing: Ensuring the load stays put (a bit of strapping required now and then). Playing by the Rules: Keeping your logbooks pristine and staying sharp on all NHVR regulations. The Must-Haves Checklist: The Badge: A valid, current HC or MC licence. The Track Record: Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a similar role. Fresh Miles: You must have worked in a similar driving role within the last 5 months. The Moves: Total confidence in trailer coupling/uncoupling and tight-space reversing. The Hoops (The Serious Stuff): All successful applicants must pass: A Pre-Employment Medical (including a drug and alcohol screen). An In-Depth Driver In-Cab Assessment (both theory and practical—yes, coupling and reversing will be tested!). The Paperwork: A clean driving history report, a recent police check, and an updated resume.
