Job Description

Are you an experienced MC Driver looking for stable, long-term employment in North Queensland? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable MC Truck Driver to join our team permanently. Based in the beautiful Townsville or Ayr region, this role is perfect for a dedicated driver who takes pride in their equipment, values safety, and is looking for consistent hours with a reputable company.

Job Responsibility

Operating heavy vehicle floats
Driving truck and dog combinations
Working consistent 10-hour daily shifts
Performing pre-start checks and maintaining accurate logbook records
Ensuring all loads are safely secured and transported in compliance with chain of responsibility (CoR) regulations

Requirements

Current MC (Multi-Combination) Driver's Licence
Demonstrated Experience: Proven experience operating floats and truck & dog combinations
Clean Driving Record: A current traffic history report will be required
Clearances: You must be able to successfully pass a National Police Check
Health & Safety: Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical Assessment, as well as strict Drug & Alcohol screening
Location: You must currently reside in the Ayr region or have the ability and willingness to relocate to Ayr for this permanent role
