Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Maximo System Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Maximo product owner, functional leads, end users, IT infrastructure teams, help desk leads, and Job Control to ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Maximo system and its integrations. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to utilizing industry-standard best practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform daily administration duties within Maximo and Oracle systems
  • Monitor and report on the health and performance of Maximo’s key functionalities
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency of Maximo features and functions
  • Maintain comprehensive system documentation for Maximo
  • Work with help desk personnel to troubleshoot and resolve end user issues related to Maximo
  • Develop, implement, and document testing strategies for system enhancements and upgrades
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Maximo roadmap planning and upgrade initiatives
  • Deliver training and guidance to Maximo end-users
  • Stay informed of current trends and technologies related to Maximo and associated systems
  • Participate in integration support, system upgrade activities, and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 7 years of working experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.5 or higher
  • 7 years of working experience with Windows Server 2008/2012
  • Security+ certification
