Job Description:

The Maximo Solutions Architect will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level Work Management System (WMS) solutions using IBM Maximo. This role includes leading technical architecture, aligning business processes with system capabilities, and supporting all phases of system implementation from requirements gathering to go-live and sustainment. The specialist will be key in ensuring integration with supporting platforms, optimizing operational processes, and achieving measurable benefits across the organization. The role also requires providing technical guidance, support for mobile and GIS integrations, and managing compliance with performance, privacy, and security standards.

Job Responsibility:

Provide technical architecture and design leadership for IBM Maximo solutions
Assist in planning, implementing, and enhancing system integrations and business processes
Analyze and optimize workflows, recommend operational improvements
Lead root cause analysis and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Support data conversion, integration, functional specification development, and migration planning
Guide and support testing phases including functional and unit tests
Deliver comprehensive documentation including technical specs, workflows, and user guides
Conduct design walkthroughs, support post-implementation, and lead knowledge transfer sessions

Requirements:

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience with Work Management System implementations
IBM Maximo certification with 10+ years of hands-on experience
Strong experience supporting enterprise-scale IT solutions in asset management, plant maintenance, and service delivery
Proven experience in utilities or similar technical environments
Skilled in BPMN for process modeling, QA/testing techniques, and user acceptance facilitation
Knowledge of mobile computing, GIS, data modeling, Agile methodologies, and DevOps
Experience with tools and platforms such as Oracle DB, SAP, ArcGIS, Microsoft 365, Blueprint, and SharePoint
