Job Description

Maths Teaching Assistant – Aspiring Maths Teacher. An Outstanding Secondary School in Wandsworth are seeking a Maths Teaching Assistant and an aspiring Maths Teacher who they can train throughout the year as a Maths Teaching Assistant, working specifically within KS3, KS4 and KS5 Maths Lessons, as well as supporting students with SEN in their Maths studies.

Job Responsibility

  • Working specifically within Maths lessons
  • Supporting in class, as well as out of class, with interventions
  • Working across KS3 & KS4 + KS5 1:1 support bi-weekly
  • Work closely with pupils both in class on a 1:1 and group level, as well as outside of the classroom, providing group interventions

Requirements

  • Maths Graduate with a 1st class or 2:1 degree
  • Strong academics are essential
  • Interested in working with students of all abilities, lower and higher
  • A positive role model who can work with integrity
  • Aspiring teachers are urged to apply
