Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive Mathematics lessons across various levels
Develop innovative schemes of work and teaching resources tailored to student needs
Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work to drive improvement
Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records of achievement
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning environment
Prepare students for national qualifications and external examinations
Lead strategies to improve student retention, attendance, and success rates
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices
Act as a role model, promoting a positive image of the college at all times
Comply with all safeguarding, equality, and professional ethics standards
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Strong subject knowledge across algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus
