Affinity Partnerships are seeking an outstanding and inspirational teacher of Maths at one of our schools who drive excellence in teaching, curriculum and student outcomes across the department. This role also has flexibility for those who have more experience to share a head of department role with the deputy head of department.

Requirements
qualified teacher (QTS) with a strong degree in Mathematics or a related subject, with successful experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
exceptional classroom practitioner, able to consistently deliver high-quality, engaging lessons which secure strong progress and outcomes over time
confident in using assessment and progress data to identify priorities, drive improvement and implement effective interventions, particularly for disadvantaged students, SEND learners and high attainers
skilled in curriculum leadership, with a strong understanding of effective Mathematics pedagogy and current developments in the subject
excellent communicator who can build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community, contributing to collaboration across the school and trust
committed to fostering high expectations of behaviour, achievement and attitudes to learning, ensuring a purposeful and inclusive environment
passionate about professional development, both in developing your own practice and in coaching and supporting others to improve
dedicated to providing enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom, helping students develop confidence, curiosity and a love of Mathematics
