Job Description:

AK Teaching are currently supporting a Secondary school based in Redcar who are seeking a Maths Teacher to start as soon as possible. The role is full time and is long term for the right candidate. Every student at the school is cared for, supported and challenged to maximise their potential.

Job Responsibility:

Teach a variable timetable of all year groups across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Consideration needs to be made for students who are struggling academically and may be working at a lower level
Plan and deliver lessons that engage and challenge students of varying abilities

Requirements:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS)
The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students
Strong subject knowledge of the Maths Curriculum
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service
