Job Description

Affinity Partnerships are working with a specialist setting for pupils aged 9-19 with a range of additional needs, including complex autism, and are seeking to appoint a passionate and engaging Maths Teacher who is committed to making a real difference in young people's lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons
  • Support students' academic progress and emotional development
  • Teach individuals, small groups, or whole classes as required
  • Monitor, assess and report on student progress
  • Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, families and external professionals

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths to secondary-aged students
  • Knowledge of SEND, particularly autism or additional learning needs
  • Ability to build strong relationships and engage learners
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
