Job Description

Are you a passionate Secondary Maths Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and a better work-life balance in the Torbay area? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Maths specialists to support secondary schools across Brixham, Torquay, Paignton, and the wider Torbay region.

Job Responsibility

  • Day-to-Day: Deliver engaging, pre-prepared Maths lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Long-Term: Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning innovative lessons, preparing students for exams (GCSE/A-Level), marking, and tracking progress

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • A strong subject knowledge of the secondary Mathematics curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one)
  • A passion for education and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
