Job Description:

Maths Teacher – Full-time, flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You’ll be supporting schools in Paignton and the surrounding areas, teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging lessons across the Maths curriculum following the provided plans
Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
Adaptable and confident working in a long-term or supply role
