Job Responsibility
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning
Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development
Take part in school-wide initiatives, enrichment programmes, and pastoral responsibilities
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Child DBS on the update service
Strong subject knowledge in Maths
A commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development
The ability to engage, inspire and challenge students of all abilities
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (preferred, but ECTs welcome to apply)
