Job Description:

Justteachers is seeking a Maths Teacher, who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in June 2026, with shortlisting currently underway. A forward-looking school dedicated to developing confident, resilient learners. It offers a collaborative environment where staff are encouraged to innovate and grow.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver structured maths lessons KS3 KS4 KS5
Assess student progress and provide feedback
Prepare pupils for GCSE and A level exams
Differentiate lessons for mixed ability groups
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
Use data to track and improve attainment
Contribute to department planning and meetings
Support extracurricular maths activities
Engage students in problem solving skills
Maintain safeguarding and school policies

Requirements:

UK school experience essential
QTS with maths specialism
Strong subject knowledge KS3 KS5
Experience preparing for GCSE exams
