Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics that challenge and support students of all abilities
Focus on GCSE success, using your deep curriculum knowledge to prepare Year 11 students for their final assessments
Monitor and record student achievement, providing clear, actionable feedback to close learning gaps
Work with the Blackburn teaching community to share resources and maintain the school's high standards of behavior and learning
Adhere to all safeguarding and school policies, ensuring a safe and productive environment for all
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A relevant degree in Mathematics or a quantitative field
Proven success teaching the UK Maths curriculum at KS3 and KS4
The ability to settle quickly into a new school environment and build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
Strong presence and the ability to maintain a focused, positive learning atmosphere
A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
