Job Description:

Maths Teachers Needed | Sefton Secondary Schools. Are you a Maths teacher looking for a local role with great pay? We are recruiting Maths Teachers for our secondary schools throughout Sefton, from Southport down to Bootle. Whether you want a long-term position or flexible daily supply, we can get you started immediately.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver clear and engaging Maths lessons to secondary students
Plan and prepare lesson materials that follow the national curriculum
Mark student work and provide feedback to help them improve
Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment
Support the department with GCSE assessments and student progress

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT status
A University degree in Mathematics or a STEM subject
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one)
good behaviour management skills
good classroom management
good communication skills
knowledge of curriculum
knowledge of subject
