Job Description:

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths to join our secondary school in Eastbourne on a full-time basis, starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about Maths and eager to make a positive impact on pupils' progress and achievement. The role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs, with appropriate support available.

Job Responsibility:

Teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress effectively
Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school community
Maintain high expectations of behaviour, achievement, and engagement

Requirements:

Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
Have a strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths
Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Have the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils
Work effectively as part of a supportive team

Nice to have:

KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience
