As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them to build confidence and achieve their full potential in mathematics.
Job Responsibility
Supporting pupils with Maths interventions and small group work
Providing targeted support to children who require additional help with numeracy
Working with pupils across KS1 and KS2
Supporting classroom learning across the wider curriculum when required
Helping teachers prepare engaging learning resources and activities
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning
Assisting children with varying learning abilities, including those with additional needs
Requirements
Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Strong numeracy and communication skills
Passion for education and supporting young learners
Experience working with children is desirable but not essential
Ability to commit to a full-time position from September 2026
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
