Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary Curriculum Lead for Maths to join our "Good" rated Manchester Secondary PRU. You will lead a core curriculum designed to engage students with complex SEMH needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Strategic oversight of the Mathematics intent, implementation, and impact across the provision
  • Sequence a challenging Maths curriculum that meets national requirements
  • Lead professional development and model excellence in Maths pedagogy
  • Secure rigorous tracking systems to monitor learning standards
  • Oversee staff deployment and resources within the department
  • Identify CPD requirements and provide coaching for colleagues

Requirements:

  • Relevant QTS teaching qualification with a Maths focus
  • Experience implementing successful programmes at KS3 and KS4
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions for pupils at risk of exclusion

  • Support district partners in ways that achieve aggressive KPIs designed to rapidly improving student learning outcomes and scale services to support more districts
  • Provide on-site targeted support to district leaders, school leaders, and coaches.
