Job Responsibility
Design & Deliver: Create innovative, multi-sensory lesson plans and schemes of work in Maths and Science for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 learners
Personalised Learning: Collaborate with lead teachers to tailor the curriculum to each individual child's unique needs, interests, and EHCP goals
Track & Celebrate Progress: Support learning managers with assessments, progress tracking, and report writing to showcase academic, social, and emotional growth
Empower Voices: Involve young people directly in decisions about their own learning journeys, building their confidence and independence
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
A Relevant Level 6 Qualification - Essential
Experience teaching Maths or Science, OR a strong desire and willingness to undertake supported professional development in these subject areas upon appointment
Prior experience in an SEN environment is highly preferred, but a genuine passion for learner-centred practice and a relational approach is vital
The ability to build deep, trusting relationships with neurodivergent learners, their families, and your colleagues
