Maths and General Cover Teachers – Full-time or Part-time, Flexible Supply Roles, Starting ASAP. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Maths and General Cover Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Teignmouth and the surrounding areas. You will deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Maths and other subjects across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to learning
  • Uphold safeguarding and health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths and covering other subjects in secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage learners
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Flexible and resilient, with a commitment to inclusive education
