As a Lecturer of Maths and English at EKC Sheppey College, you’ll spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students unlock their full potential. No two days are the same - from teaching and training to guiding learners toward success, you’ll play a key role in shaping their futures. You'll mostly be teaching Functional Skills, and for the right candidate there could be some GCSE level education.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Maths and English across a range of learning environments
Support and inspire learners to reach their goals and achieve their best
Lead on designated study programmes or courses
designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging content
Bring creativity and enthusiasm to every session, making learning enjoyable and meaningful
Requirements:
Teaching experience or have delivered training in the workplace
Highly organised and creative
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and connect with learners
Confidence in assessing and tracking student progress
A positive, empathetic approach and solid classroom management skills
