Job Description

At St Helens College and Knowsley Community College, our lecturers play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training, helping students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching, learning and assessment
  • Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of Maths provision
  • Maintain high academic and professional standards
  • Work closely with the Head of School and Deputy Head of School
  • Be responsible for the performance and outcomes of the courses you teach

Requirements

  • Experience of teaching and motivating Further Education students
  • Hold a relevant degree (a higher degree is desirable)
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one within a set timeframe)
  • Have GCSE Maths and English (A*-C / 9-4)
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
