Mathematics Lecturer We are looking for a Mathematics Lecturer to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum. Why Join Us? Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities: As a Mathematics Lecturer you will provide engaging and effective instruction to a diverse range of students studying mathematics from Entry level up to Higher tier GCSE. This encompasses developing and delivering well-structured lessons that cater to various learning styles, employing a variety of teaching methodologies, and ensuring that all learners grasp fundamental mathematical concepts. Additionally, mathematics lecturers play a crucial role in supporting students' academic progress by setting achievable goals, providing regular feedback, and assisting with revision and exam preparation. Skills and Qualifications: Teaching qualification (Certificate of Education, PGCE or equivalent). Hold a specialist Level 4/5 Maths qualification (or from a related discipline e.g. Engineering). Minimum Level 2 English/Literacy qualification. Able to evidence successful experience of teaching Functional Skills maths and GCSE Maths. Be able to demonstrate knowledge and practice of effective and inclusive group teaching and learning strategies. Have a thorough knowledge of GCSE Maths specifications and/or Functional Skills standards.
