Job Description:

An inspiring Maths Teacher role in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) school for pupils aged 11+ in Crawley. The role focuses on rebuilding confidence and re‑engaging pupils with their learning in a calm, purposeful environment with strong routines and highly trained support staff.

Job Responsibility:

Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (functional skills + GCSE pathways)
Delivering engaging, practical lessons that bring maths to life
Real-world problem solving and confidence-building strategies

Requirements:

Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or QTLS)
Resilient, reflective and calm under pressure
Strong behaviour management rooted in relationships
Ability to break learning down and celebrate small wins
Flexible, creative, and passionate about helping vulnerable pupils succeed

Nice to have:

Experience in SEMH or SEND
