Mentoring students in person at an inpatient clinical setting located in the Morgantown, WV area, making connections between what our students are learning in the classroom and during simulations, and their real-world application in patient care. This course focuses on family-centered approaches to maternal/newborn care and incorporates health promotion and wellness issues. The childbearing cycle, including normal experience, high-risk factors, complications, and alterations are studied.

Requirements:
A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
An unencumbered professional RN nursing license in West Virginia
Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses
Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
