Ryanair Engineering Delivered by PAM Ireland Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for a Materials Support Officer to join our team at Hangar 5, Shannon Airport. The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic, highly skilled team, contributing to the safe maintenance of a fleet of 650+ aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines. Job Responsibility:
Assisting the Materials department in the purchase, repair and warranty control cycle of parts in relation to base maintenance at PAM
Liaison with all Engineering departments & Materials including Stores (PAM & RYANAIR) to ensure aircraft spares are supplied and expedited on time and in full support for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
Liaison with all Engineering departments & Materials including Stores (PAM & RYANAIR) to ensure aircraft U/S items are dispatched & expedited on time and in full support for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities
Support Material Purchasing and Repair Control
Assist in the control of spares in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Assist in the control of U/S parts in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Monitoring spare part movements to ensure that robberies, loans and exchanges are documented and controlled in accordance with internal processes
Assisting in the control of freight movements
Assisting in monitoring pre-load packages for aircraft checks
Assisting the Materials department in the production of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and collation of reports, data/analysis required from internal computer systems and in support of future materials planning, costs and forecasting
Monitoring and control of aircraft shortages and Station Parts Alert (SPA) to time, cost and delivery schedule and ensuring all component movements are accurately recorded on AMOS and internal Computer Systems
Constant communications with Vendors and stake holders to achieve required results
Requirements:
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate with suppliers
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
Proactive, positive approach, with the ability to work handle multiple priorities
Strong analytical, organisation and time management skills
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of AMOS advantageous
Understanding of quality processes and procedures
Ability to work without direct supervision and use own initiative
Experience working within Aviation advantageous
The successful candidate will be required to obtain a clean Garda Vetting Disclosure in order to work at the airport
