Conduct polymeric material characterizations to support supply risk mitigation and cost mitigation projects
Perform mechanical testing of final assembled blood collection tube products and report results to principal investigator and/or project team
Develop and execute test protocols and document results in a timely fashion
Review documentation for accuracy
Prepare technical communication in forms of reports, memos, etc.
Maintenance of equipment and laboratory facilities
Requirements:
B.S. + degree in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering or relating disciplines
Good understanding of material structure-property relationship
Hands-on experience with material characterizations such as INSTRON, DSC/TGA, DMA and FTIR
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only
Nice to have:
M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Material Science, Polymer Engineering and relating disciplines
Knowledge in blood biology and clinical assays. Medical device experience preferred.
Proficient with Minitab
Experience in design of experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as ability to communicate effectively with scientists and engineers from a wide range of technical backgrounds.
