What you’ll be doing As Materials Scheduler, you will work as part of a team controlling the materials Supply Chain and maintain continuity of supply in a very fast-moving environment. To contribute towards creating and maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues in their area and that as a minimum their area meets the standards set out in the group Health and Safety policy. Seek input from and maintain effective ongoing communications with internal and external stakeholders. Produce, interpret, provide insight and react to KPIs which identify the performance of the Materials team. Ensure that materials are always available and delivered on time to meet production schedules. Communicate within the wider Supply Chain team to develop new methods of working and encourage effective collaboration and teamworking. To build and maintain internal relations in other functions and locations, including Commercial, Process Team, Technical and site stores and De Box areas. Proactively develop collaborative working relationships with suppliers and continually review ways of working. Responsible for stock days/stock value in line with agreed stock strategy, proactively look for opportunities to improve supply chain processes in order to reduce/improve stock management – Raw Materials / Packaging / Crates. To proactively look at ways to improve customer service, short and long-term control systems development and further opportunities.
