Job Description:

Lead a team that keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes at William Grant & Sons in Bellshill, ensuring the Bottling Team has everything they need to deliver world class products on time, every time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and inspire a team of Material Controllers and Planners, fostering strong supplier relationships and ensuring capacity meets demand
  • Coordinate the supply of material to deliver the production plan while hitting stock and inventory targets
  • Collaborate across the business, reviewing vendor schedules and resolving supply gaps through S&OE and S&OP frameworks
  • Partner with the Procurement and Quality team to maintain supplier contracts and service level agreements
  • Drive continuous improvement, reducing shortages, improving efficiency, and balancing cost, inventory, and service
  • Report and review dry goods held by suppliers, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to business reviews, sharing insights and leading functional discussions

Requirements:

  • A proactive leader with experience in materials management or supply chain
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
