Job Responsibility

  • Expedite controlled stock receipts, movements & despatch
  • Observe team level policies and procedures to ensure consistent and coherent team output, in line with SSTL approach
  • Maintain a clean, neat & orderly work area. Assist in maintaining warehouse/stores security
  • Support Goods-In receiving, ensuring any purchase order &/or physical delivery anomalies are resolved or highlighted
  • Kitting & issuing materials against project activities
  • Organises & pack items for despatch, liaise with stakeholders to understand and implement their requirements
  • Support Mechanical Inspector when necessary
  • Other activities as delegated by Team/Group Leader

Requirements

  • Stores experience, ideally in the electronics or aerospace industry
  • Results orientated
  • strong drive to meet quality levels & deliver to schedule
  • Good problem solver
  • able to work methodically, to tight deadlines within a pressurised environment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings would be advantageous
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • able to communicate at all levels across the business
  • Pro-active and flexible with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Computer literate, with good MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Able to pass basic pre-employment screen (BPSS)

Nice to have

Ability to interpret engineering drawings would be advantageous

  • Expedite material requests from the production group that have not yet been received
  • Investigate facility requests not reflected in the database and coordinate the addition of material to work orders. Ensure the material is purchased, received, and distributed correctly
  • Support the warehouse with small material deliveries across the facility
  • Conduct project reconciliation as projects are completed to close out open orders, requisitions, work orders and project inventory
  • Review Bills of Material (BOM) and compare against Work in Process (WIP) to ensure data accuracy
  • Communicate across departments to identify and repurpose excess material instead of duplicating orders
  • Act as a substitute for the Parts Master in their absence
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially employee safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality system principles
