Aquila Technology is looking for a highly skilled Logistics/Operations Specialist to support one of the nation’s leading defense research organizations. We are looking for a hardworking, fast-paced go-getter to join our group as a logistics/operations specialist. The individual will be quick, organized and be able to work in a dynamic environment. This role combines various logistical tasks, while simultaneously assisting the groups Business Manager with various administrative tasks. The selected candidate will be full-time, and not averse to longer hours/later days when warranted.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and update group and individual programmatic Wiki pages on a weekly basis
  • Maintain Software versions of all group technical systems
  • Maintain all group / group employee property via the in-house property tracking system
  • Handle all outgoing shipments of group property and ship orders via SAP
  • Assist group administrative assistants in purchasing, Purchase order extensions and adjustments
  • Assist the group business manager with various administrative tasks
  • Validate and refresh Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) letters
  • Take ownership of uptime and system reliability across organization and field environments
  • Work proactively with technical staff to obtain information and track hardware
  • Logistical maintenance of organizations developed radios, hardware, and apertures to include SW version, HW revision, property number tracking and location of items

Requirements:

  • 2 years – Administrative support experience
  • 2 years – Ability to work with internal teams (developers, administrators, IT security and data personnel)
