Material Provisions Coordinator Client: BAE Systems Location: Portsmouth Working Arrangements: Full Time on site Duration: 10 months Hourly Rate: £17.55ph PAYE We’re looking for a Material Provisions Coordinator to join a busy operations team, ensuring materials and tooling are ready to support production delivery. This role is key to keeping work flowing – coordinating with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to make sure everything is in place for a smooth start.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring all materials and tooling are ready and available for work orders
  • Coordinating daily with supply chain & logistics teams
  • Managing material kitting and enablement for production
  • Resolving material/tooling issues quickly and effectively
  • Supporting continuous improvement across planning and material processes
  • Maintaining accurate data in ERP systems

Requirements

  • Experience in materials coordination, planning, or production support
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel
  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, or ship repair (ideal)
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
