Job Description:

Material Preservation Coordinator cooperates with the construction, material control and Logistics groups to assure the timely and appropriate preservation of materials and equipment once received at site. He/she operates in compliance with the specifications, procedures, quality requirements and health/environmental/safety regulations during the course of activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinates preservation (and de-preservation as necessary) of materials and equipment in compliance with vendor and project and specifications and procedures
  • Requisitions preservation equipment and tools as necessary
  • Prepares and issues preservation reports as required by the field engineering manager
  • Initiates and maintains preservation recording
  • Requests, as necessary, relevant permits to perform preservation activities

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any Engineering courses
  • Minimum of 10 year's work experience
  • Significant experience in in a similar position on EPC Oil & Gas projects/ Refinery
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, management skills
  • Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution
