Job Description

Highlight/identify core that requires cutting on printed schedule. Measure and set-up core to cut to width and length based on chart specifications. Must know all core components and door stile/rail construction specs. Be able to hold and cut up to 2 core at a time, tape Measure use to 32th of an inch. Validate accuracy of core before/after cuts, correct count, and in order of the schedule. Cut back floor report completed daily for inventory adjustments. Regularly occurring tasks: changing saws blades - certified lockout/tag out, use of small hand tools. Drive forklift in high traffic area to move core.

  • Advanced knowledge door configuration specifications (rails/stiles) and correct sizing of core
  • Skills in reading a tape measure/ calculating fractional math
  • Apply safety procedures, order tracking process and documents, all sizes and configurations
