Job Responsibility:

  • Management of materials for prototyping, contact with suppliers and internal departments, verification of warehouse availability
  • Point of reference for the purchasing department in material management
  • Optimization of the lens warehouse
  • Management of internal projects

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the eyewear industry in similar roles
  • Fluent professional English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP is necessary

  • Monitoring delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time, proactively resolving any issues that could impact production
  • Collaborating with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Resolving any discrepancies that arise
  • Being the link between suppliers and production, ensuring that materials are available when and where they’re needed to avoid downtime
  • Preparing insightful reports on material availability, usage, and forecast accuracy
  • Championing compliance with food safety, traceability, and quality standards such as BRC and HACCP
