Are you an organized professional with a background in supply chain or logistics looking to develop your career with a global power leader? We are seeking a Material Planning - First Fit Expeditor to join the Cummins Generator Tech site in Peterborough. This role offers an excellent entry-point into materials planning within a world-class environment, starting with a comprehensive 3-week, 5-day onsite training program before moving to a flexible hybrid working model.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the First Fit Planning team, you will act as a key liaison to ensure material availability and tracking
  • Shipment Validation: Actively validating shipment plans directly with suppliers to ensure alignment
  • Plan Maintenance: Developing and maintaining a rolling 5-day shipment plan to secure uninterrupted operations
  • Inbound PO Management: Supporting inbound Purchase Order tracking and monitoring shipments across multiple sites
  • Collaborative Reviews: Participating in daily and weekly review meetings to report on supply chain status and findings

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-4 years of relevant work experience in supply chain, logistics, or an administrative tracking role is preferred
  • Education: High school diploma, secondary education certificate, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Location Commute: Ability to work onsite in Peterborough 5 days a week for the first 3 weeks, and 3 days a week thereafter
