Job Responsibility:
Participate in building the plant strategies to achieve its business objectives
Be accountable for the harmonized schedules, internal and external
Lead, manage and coach a team of leaders on various shift schedules
Be accountable for all the material bought and built on the production lines
Act as the single point of accountability for all the site inventories and implement control mechanisms
Optimize the planning and supply chain cycle to meet the operational requirements while minimizing inventory levels
Implement key performance indicators to ensure a timely delivery to clients and ensure adherence to the plan
Participate in the development of the process and system changes necessary to enhance Supply Chain performance
Manage projects (budgeting, staffing, risk assessment and mitigation) to ensure complete customer satisfaction and project profitability
Ensure internal controls are in place and compliance to Bombardier policies
Prioritize resource allocation and team support towards achievement of annual objectives
Create and maintain networks externally and internally, such as the Suppliers, Methods, Engineering, Program and Production, to ensure alignment and support for the team
Participate, with other Supply chain directors and managers, to establish strategic plans and objectives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business administration, Logistics or equivalent
At least 10 years’ experience in all aspects of Supply Chain management (supply planning, demand planning, sourcing, delivery planning, logistics, etc.)
At least five (5) years’ management experience
Experience in a complex industry such as aerospace
Experience in a unionized environment
Extensive experience in negotiation
High proficiency and good communicator in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Strong capabilities in operations and financial management
Ability to communicate with Senior Management across the business as well as external suppliers and possess excellent strategic presentations skills
Nice to have:
Experience in negotiating services contracts a strong asset
